IN COLLABORATION WITH
OUR ROLE IN RESEARCH
"Now that I have seen causes that lead to adaptive human growth and behaviour, I cannot unsee them." Dr. Hilary Pada
Our path of care at CO₂llaborative Care + Research is a Myofunctional approach that has allowed for research and scientific methods to become an integrated aspect of our practice. The era of Myofunctional and Airway Diagnosis, Care, and Collaboration is upon us, and our awareness of connected health conditions only grown stronger. As part of our research component, Dr. Hilary Pada has been working in collaboration with BCCancer Kelowna on research into Quality of Life during head and neck cancer care, as it relates to mouth breathing. She has also been working with Dr. Sepideh Pakpour at the University of British Columbia’s Microbiome Lab, researching Cancer Care and Microbiome, as well as information relating to COVID-19.
To take on your care in our facility, we ask that you accept that your case will be documented for the possibility that others may learn from it, and that it may meet requirements for a research project we are working on now and/or in the future.
